Destination Summary

Cuxhaven

In Cuxhaven you can take off like a Pro!
In the North Sea you have to watch at ebb and flow. You can kite there 3 hours before and 3 hours after the flow. In Summer there also are 2 Weeks of no wind and then you have for maybe 2 or 3 days wind and then again no one. But in September it starts with strengths from 20 - 40 knots and when a storm hits Germany, it is here! You can stand in the water for a really long distance and when the water flows back because of the ebb, the water is really flat and you can also train your freestyle skills! The people are awesome and there is a cafe at the spot.
In Summer you have to pay for parking but in winter there are not many kiters and it is insane to go there at least 1-3 times a Week.
