Destination Summary

Undiscovered gem in Mediterranean.
Cyprus has consistent thermal wind from May to September, averaging 17-22kts, great for freestyle, with many windier days (25-35kts) enabling good for big air seshs, looping and old school. If on top of this you foil, you can kite practically everyday during windy season. A few wavy days (1-2m waves) enabling strapless riders to have fun too.
The yearly competition KING OF KITE organized by Kahuna Surfhouse, brings a pro kiter to judge local riders.
Amazingly friendly community of kiters, constantly organizing activities, downwinders, yoga, charities, bbqs, etc.
