Destination Summary

Île de ré

La Rochelle, and Ile de ré is an amazing destination where you can kite but there is also plenty other things to do.On summer we have thermal wind almost everyday (15-20 knots). And we sometimes get nice wind when there is storm coming etc. But if you can foil there is no day where you won't be kiting. There is also nice waves coming sometimes, the wave spot can be really cool with west wind. It is an island so there is many spots so it's not really overcrowded (maybe a bit in summer). You can come with your family, as this place has many things to discover : beautiful beach, many restaurants, little historic town and there is also La Rochelle near by.
