Destination Summary

Öland

Öland is Sweden's second largest island, with great nature, a lot of sightseeing, things to do for the whole family - and one of the most wind safe destinations in the country! There are multiple spots available in every wind direction. The wind usually comes from the Nordic Sea so it tends to be strong. A lot of the highest jumps made in Sweden comes from this island. The season is best spring (April-June) and autumn (August-October) but the summers can be really good as well. You'll need to bring your wetsuit though, cause the water is cold.
