Destination Summary

Anegada

Anegada is a remote Northern Island in the British Virigin Islands. The island is very flat giving unimpeded open ocean wind. It is also an atoll island which means it is surrounded by a coral ring which causes a break far from shore leaving nice flat water for kiting. The ABC(Anegada Beach Club) is on the North side of the island and has a nice white sand beach that stretches out for miles. There is a kite school and rentals are available. Tommy Gaunt is the local legend and instructor. He rides Crazy Fly and has nice new gear available to rent. Anegada is great for beginners because the wind is generally parallel to the beach. The water beautiful, warm and shallow.
