Destination Summary

Beadnell Bay

Large east facing bay with history of kiting so nobody will be surprised to see kiters there. If its windy from southerly thru to north-east then the North end of the bay will be the spot and you probably wont kite alone. Large car park right at spot. A couple of reefs visible only at low tide - mid to high you don't need top worry about them. Southern Beadnell Bay works on north north west thru to easterly - no hazards at all and a small car park a short distance from the spot. Both locations offer only a small beach at high tide.

Budle Bay is closeby and a tidal inlet - water 2 hours either side of high tide and some great flat water in places. One of the few places on the east coast that works well on a westerly - thru to north west. No car park but an off road parking spot a short walk down a narrow road to the spot.
