Destination Summary

New England

Nantucket is a quaint small island vacation spot with excellent restaurants, bars, & shopping, that also happens to get amazing wind ripping up the New England coastline.

Nantucket lies about 30 miles south of Cape Cod Massachusetts and can be accessed by ferry, plane, or helicopter if you have the means.

The tiny island has 50+ miles of coastline and can take any wind direction, offering swell and flat water options. A few kite companies are available for premium support and lessons, but those looking for big air should be able to set themselves up with no issues.

Sharks have been spotted around the island and nearby coastline, but they're a rare threat kiters shouldn't have to worry about!

Cape Cod is a short boat ride away and also has almost limitless spots to kite in every wind direction. Best time for strong wind is in the fall & spring.
