Destination Summary

Schleswig Holstein

Superflat water and waves with ENE wind. Not one Ocean, but 2! Yes! 2! The North Sea and the Baltic Sea. North Sea usually more Waves but Flats too, and Tides, which can require a longer walk sometimes, bur you are already warmed up, when you get there :) Baltic has no Tides , even more flats, waves only in really strong Winds. My Destination has Spots for every Wind Direction. Best Months for strongest Winds is Spring Time - March to June, and then Fall Sept. to November. Wetsuit is needed, i recommend a 5/4 but you can get away with a 3/2 (s sometimes :) My favourite is Heiligenhafen. Nice sandy Beach, good Infrastructure, space,
