Kiter of the Month for October 2021

Every month we crown 1 Big Air Kiter who's been crushing it with this exclusive Big Air Kiter of the Month Cap! This cap cannot be purchased. It is WON! This prestigious award serves to acknowledge the qualities that we aspire to: COURAGE, AMBITION and a desire to TEST YOUR METTLE in tough conditions!

Our kiter of the month for October likes to go LARGE! We don’t just mean high - we mean SUPER high. He likes to jump 20m high and send fully powered loops in 40-50 knots of nuking, cold, dense wind! He’s kind of like Batman, in the way that he’s a man of few words, mysterious and absolutely ducking sends it. Who doesn’t love Batman? Without further ado, we present to you Evan Klijn!

Evan is an extremely competitive kiter. He’s not the kind of guy to settle for being anything less than what he’s capable of - be it in business or in kiting. The man is ambitious! So when you put a guy like him in the water with other riders who are pushing, you’re sure to see some magic! One of the first tricks that put him on our radar was this boogie board off in Naxos back in August 2020. He was 1 of the first guys performing this trick, making him a real stand out at the time. But he hasn’t stopped standing out! Check out his entry video for BAKL Cape Town to see some cutting edge, high powered moves. That’s enough from us. We’ve interviewed him so you can learn more about our Kiter of the Month from the man himself!
